Support Chicagoans struggling with homelessness

Every year, 86,000 members of our community experience homeless. The Night Ministry provides housing, health care, and human connection to these most vulnerable members of our community. Every year, we serve more than 6,000 young people and adults who have nowhere else to go.

You can help them by joining us in our mission. Scroll down to find out more about what you can do to help.

Provide Meals

The COVID-19 pandemic has increased food insecurity across Chicago. More and more of the individuals and families we serve are reporting greater need for food assistance.

You can help by donating prepared meals for us to serve at our Health Outreach Bus or at The Crib, our overnight shelter for young adults.

You can also donate sack meals, consisting of a sandwich (meat and cheese only, no condiments), fruit cup, a snack such as potato chips or chewy granola bar, and bottled water.

To make arrangements to donate meals or sack suppers, please email Andrew Hart, Volunteer Coordinator, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 773-506-6033.
