The meals provided by The Night Ministry are very often the only food many individuals have in a day.
You can help by preparing and serving meals to the individuals and families we serve. Opportunities are available throughout the week at different locations in Chicago.

Volunteer
Volunteers play a vital role in the mission of The Night Ministry. By volunteering, you can make a difference in the lives of the thousands of young people and adults we serve each year.
Make a Financial Contribution
Your financial generosity provides housing for unhoused young people, including pregnant and parenting mothers and their children. Your gift brings free basic health care to individuals unable to access it elsewhere. Your generosity allows us to offer compassionate, nonjudgmental relationships that bring hope and change lives.
Collect Hygiene Items
We distribute personal care items such as toothpaste, soap, and deodorant to help our clients attend to their hygiene needs. You can help by collecting the following items in full or travel size:
- Disposable body wipes (bath wipes, not sanitizing wipes)
- Hair products for curly or textured hair
- Body wash/bar soap
- Conditioner
- Deodorant
- Toothpaste (must be unexpired)
- Mouthwash (must be unexpired)
- Lip balm
Many of our supporters organize collection drives to gather hygiene items.
