Next Steps for Groups

Outreach and Health Ministry

Many people served by our Health Outreach Program rely on us for at least some, if not most, of the food they consume in a day. We invite you to help by providing meals for the Health Outreach Bus, Street Medicine Team, and our outreach on the CTA.

We encourage you to donate hot meals as well as sack suppers for the Health Outreach Bus and our CTA outreach. You may serve the food you are donating alongside us, bring them to our administrative office, or drop them off at the outreach location. Please schedule your meals in advance by first viewing our meal calendar and then contacting Andrew Hart, Volunteer Coordinator, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 773-506-6033.

We are also accepting donations of sack suppers at our administrative office that are distributed by our Street Medicine Team to clients across the city. Please contact Andrew to make arrangements to donate Street Medicine sack suppers in advance.

The Crib

We invite you to provide weekend breakfast and dinner for guests of The Crib, our overnight shelter for young adults. You can prepare and serve your meals from The Crib's kitchen or drop off homemade or restaurant meals at the shelter, adjacent to our administrative office. Meals should serve 25 people and be scheduled in advance.

Please check our meal calendar to see when we need meals at The Crib. Then contact Andrew Hart, Volunteer Coordinator, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 773-506-6033 to make arrangements.

Youth Outreach Van

Our Youth Outreach Team brings their van to the Lakeview neighborhood Thursday nights. You are invited to provide meals for the unhoused and at-risk young people the team serves there every week. You may serve the meals alongside us or drop them off at the van. Meals must be scheduled in advance.

Please check our meal calendar to see when we need meals for the Youth Outreach Van. Then contact Andrew Hart, Volunteer Coordinator, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 773-506-6033 to make arrangements.
