Background
Volunteers have always been one of The Night Ministry’s most valuable assets. They help The Night Ministry provide critical services with direct services, support services, in-kind donations, or professional services.

Fiscal Year 2007 data
In Fiscal Year 2007, a duplicated number of 2,611 volunteers, individuals and groups, spent over 14,362 hours staging approximately 400 events that assisted clients in meeting survival needs. Among many other things, these initiatives provided 68,630 meals that were served to our clients out on Chicago's nighttime streets.
