Miscellaneous
The Night Ministry is in the process of organizing an internship program that will offer opportunities in various areas. Because these internship positions will be unpaid, with the only reimbursement for local travel expenses, we plan to be flexible in amount of hours worked. However, to get the most benefit from the work and life experience The Night Ministry offers, applicants should be willing to make a regular commitment of weekly hours over a period of time. 1. The Night Ministry is committed to providing quality training and supervision.
2. We work with school requirements and guidelines to structure the internship experience.
3. Direct service interns receive 18 hours of training - the same training provided to staff and long-term volunteers.
4. Internships are typically unpaid.
