Since 1988, the Sara Lee Foundation has been a dedicated supporter of The
Night Ministry and its programs. With the help of the Sara Lee Foundation,
The Night Ministry works to improve the lives of those living in adverse circumstances
on Chicago’s nighttime streets. From their early in-kind donations of
Sara Lee coffee and tea to substantially funding our general operating expenses
to their current funding of Open Door Youth Shelter as a Major Corporate Sponsor,
the Sara Lee Foundation has been a strong, consistent supporter of The Night
Ministry. The Foundation recognizes the importance of providing a place for
homeless young people and their children struggling with a variety of difficult
life situations.
