| Philip McGuigan is a Senior Partner at Gordon & Glickson, a Chicago-based law firm providing legal services to the technology
community. He has been chosen two years in a row as one of the top 100 people
in Chicago's economy by I-Street. The Night Ministry honored him for his commitment
to human services.
Philip McGuigan is a Trustee of the Francis Asbury Palmer Fund, along with
his brother and cousins. Together they are responsible for designating funds
from the foundation created by their Great, Great Uncle Frank, Francis Asbury
Palmer.
In June 2001, Philip asked his assistant at the time, Audree McElligott Lebdjiri,
if she could recommend a Chicago organization to be the recipient of funding
from the Francis Asbury Palmer Fund. She highly recommended The Night Ministry.
After reviewing our materials and video, Philip visited Open Door Youth Shelter
and our Health Outreach Bus. Impressed by our leadership, staff and volunteers,
and with the realistic, relevant form of outreach we provide, he sponsored
The Night Ministry with the Board of The Francis Asbury Palm Fund and obtained
their support in providing funding to The Night Ministry.
Their support has had a significant impact on our programs.
