As a corporate citizen, ComEd, an Exelon Company, has a strong tradition of community involvement. They are dedicated to committing time, energy and resources to further the environmental, educational, cultural, and human services needs in the communities they serve.

Since 1991, The Night Ministry has benefited from ComEd’s support. Their funding leadership is important in maintaining The Night Ministry’s programming and their support inspires and energizes our community through its dedication. Their support of our youth housing program has helped make it possible for us to assist hundreds of young men, young women and their children, who are struggling with a variety of difficult life situations. But their involvement goes beyond funding.

Through their involvement, Cheryl Hyman, ComEd’s Manager of State Legislative & Congressional Affairs became a valuable member of The Night Ministry’s Board of Directors.

ComEd sponsored The Night Ministry’s public awareness campaign on the CTA in the Fall of 2006, raising the visibility of the homeless youth crisis in Chicago and our ability to assist.
