Tom Behrens served as The Night Ministry’s first President from 1976 to July 2007. During that time, Tom provided strategic leadership and vision as he helped grow the organization from one staff member (himself) and one outreach program to our multi-faceted approach for working with Chicago’s underserved youth and adults.

In his Founding President & Chief Strategist role, Tom continues to educate others about the mission and work of The Night Ministry through networking in the larger community. He also spends time with those whom The Night Ministry serves at our Health Outreach Bus and our Youth Services programs for homeless youth.
