Our Youth Worker Supervisor provides case management and counseling to a clients. The Supervisor is responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling the Youth Worker staff and Maintenance Coordinator. Other responsibilities include assisting with programming for staff and residents, working with Case Managers and Youth Workers to ensure residents follow their case plans. This position is a member of the 120-day Interim Housing Program Management Team.
Our Case Management Coordinator coordinates case management services for the 120-day Interim Housing Program, including assigning new residents to their Case Manager. Teh Coordinator supervises Case Managers and provides case management and couseling to a caseload of her own clients. In addition, this position is responsible for data collection and statistical reporting of client demographics and is a member of the 120-day Interim Housing Program Management Team.
Our Coordinator of Residential Services coordinates programming for residents including therapeutic and support groups, recreational and educational activities, and mental health referrals. The Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining a case management and counseling caseload and is a member of the 120-day Interim Housing Program Management Team.
Our Case Manager maintains a full caseload of clients, providing counseling and guidance to residents and assisting residents in working to achieve self-sufficiency. The Manager links residents to needed services and resources, including housing, employment, life skills, and education. Other responsibilities include assisting with other clients, making contacts and sometimes accompanying youth to outside appointments. In addition, this position maintains the programming for youth and their children in Open Door Youth Shelter - West Town's Resource Center.
Our Youth Workers are responsible for initial intakes and providing hospitality to youth entering the 120-day Interim Housing Program. These dedicated staff are responsible for supervising residents in daily and independent living skills, and assuring they maintain adherence to their individual case plans.
Our Nurse provides basic health care, health care education, and immunizations for flu, Hepatitis A and B, as well as administering screenings for TB, HIV, STDs and more at Open Door Youth Shelter - West Town.
