Ms.
Erickson
began
her
career
in
Washington,
D.C.
as
a
congressional aide. Following several years on Capitol Hill, she was a Democratic
fundraiser,
working
on congressional
and presidential campaigns, and serving as Midwest Finance Director for the Democratic
Congressional Campaign Committee.
After leaving political work, she taught overseas for four years and began
working in the nonprofit sector in Chicago in 1994. Previously, she has been
the Director of Development for the Illinois Arts Alliance and the Administrator
of the Blowitz-Ridgeway Foundation, a private foundation that provides $1 million
a year in grants to nonprofits working in health and youth services.
Tina is originally from Minnesota and now resides with her husband and daughter
in a suburb of Chicago.
