| Imagine a day without the small comforts we take for granted – a hot shower, a place to brush your teeth and shave. Volunteers help us bring
these essentials to the youth and adults we serve.
Individuals in your organization can save or collect travel or sample-sized
items. Please do not provide us with full-sized items since they may be difficult
for our clients to carry.
Ideally, personal care kits contain:
- shampoo
- conditioner
- comb
- small brush
- hand lotion
- lip balm
- toothbrush
- toothpaste
- mouthwash
- deodorant
- small bar of soap
- disposable razor and shave cream
- washcloth
- pre-moistened towelettes
Groups can put together hygiene kits from these items in quart-sized ziplock
bags.
Or deliver the supplies to us and other volunteers put the kits together.
Drop off donations Monday through Friday between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at
The Night Ministry, 4711 N. Ravenswood Ave, Chicago.
To arrange a drop off on the first Saturday of most months between the hours
