There are consequences for residents who do not do their chores, break curfew, or violate other rules. Resulting consequences varies with the rule infraction, severity of the infraction, and repeat offenses.

Consequence include:
- the natural consequences of not doing something
- verbal warning
- additional chores
- one day of not leaving the shelter
- no weekend or overnight passes
- contract with staff that addresses rule violation
- 24 hour suspension
- 48 hour suspension
- discharge/termination from the program
