Book Club
Led by an Independent Living Coach, Book Club meets twice a month. Books include those suggested by residents and cover a wide variety of topics and perspectives. We have a strong relationship with the neighborhood library which helps us provide a copy of the book to all participants.
Creative Writing Workshop
The Creative Writing Workshop helps youth make a space to explore and expand their creative and writing talents through poetry, rap, and more.
Community Activities
Independent Living Coaches engage in and expose residents to Chicago’s wide variety of free cultural opportunities, including festivals, parades, museums, and more. Sometimes we are fortunate to receive free tickets to plays and concerts. Donate in-kind tickets
