| The Night Ministry’s Youth Outreach Team and volunteers build positive relationships with youth
while providing basic services on the street.
Street outreach events take place near the corner of Belmont and Halsted with
music and food. Providing services in a youth-friendly atmosphere helps staff
and volunteers to connect with youth to build trusting relationships. Positive
relationships are the first step in helping youth explore their options based
on their strengths.
Street Outreach Events take place on Tuesday and Thursday nights. In summer, the event runs from 8 -11/11:30 pm. In winter, the event runs from 8 - 10/10:30 pm.
