| Our Youth Outreach Team connects with youth at weekly street outreach events, at our Drop-In program at the Broadway Youth Center and through our Preventive After School Support (PASS) program.
The Youth Outreach Team spends most of their time in the Lakeview neighborhood because the streets around Belmont Avenue and Clark Street are a nationally-known gathering point for homeless and other
youth-at-risk. Lakeview’s business attract young people from all over
the city and suburbs, making it easy for homeless youth to blend in. Lakeview
also is home to many businesses serving the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, and transgender
population, making it a welcoming place for youth of all sexual orientations.
Most of our services are available at all locations. A few services are available
only at the Broadway Youth Center Drop-In program (such as: showers, computer
access, group programs.)
