The Night Ministry and our community partners at the Broadway Youth Center offer
a safe space for homeless and lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender youth
up to age 24 to stop by to get advice, hang out with friends, use computers,
make service-related phone calls, shower, get something to eat, and more.
At the Broadway Youth Center, we provide free services, including:
- Case management
- HIV/STD testing
- Medical services
- Counseling
- Use of mailing address
- Job search help
- Computer use
- Email access
- Voicemail boxes
- Vouchers for clothing, furniture or household needs from thrift stores
- Laundry
- Showers
- Locker use
- Discussion groups
Group programming includes:
- Arts expression groups
- Poetry
- Yoga
- Legal rights
- Drumming circle
- SHOUT! (a safe space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning
youth)
- Free GED program for LGBTQ youth and allies
