We bring services to people in their own communities. We do not transport people
on our bus.
How do you choose the neighborhoods that the Health Outreach Bus visits?
We use city health statistics and needs assessment surveys to match our services
with neighborhood needs. We evaluate our sites regularly to adapt our routes.
Don’t your services enable people to stay on the streets?
The Night Ministry provides non-judgmental support to individuals as they take
steps to help themselves. For people who have survived a lifetime of poverty
and abuse, that journey may involve many steps – forward and back. We receive
positive feedback from those we serve and those who support us. The support we
provide, along with the individual’s desire for help, often leads to healthier
choices.
